Frequently Asked Questions
Is SpeedSketch really 100% free?
Image-to-video is free at 720p (up to 15 seconds), with no watermarks and no signup. 1080p, 4K, and Text-to-Video are paid.
Why is there no watermark on the free version?
We believe free tools should be genuinely useful. Watermarks make videos unusable for professional purposes, which defeats the point. SpeedSketch's free tier produces clean, professional videos you can use for YouTube, social media, client work, or anything else.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You can create whiteboard animations immediately without signing up. Just upload an image and download your video. Accounts are only needed if you want to save your video history or use the premium AI text-to-video feature.
What image formats are supported?
SpeedSketch supports JPEG, PNG, and WebP images. Maximum file size is 10MB. Any image works—diagrams, photos, logos, illustrations, screenshots.
Can I use the videos commercially?
Yes. All videos created with SpeedSketch can be used commercially. Use them for YouTube (monetized), social media ads, client work, presentations, courses, or any business purpose.
What's the catch?
Honestly? We hope you'll love the free tool and eventually try the premium AI text-to-video feature (which costs credits). But there's no obligation—the free image animation is genuinely free, no strings attached.
