Everything you need to know about creating professional whiteboard animations with AI

Getting Started

Step 1: Choose Your Image

Upload any JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, or BMP image up to 10MB in size. For best results:

  • • Use images with clear, defined edges and good contrast
  • • Line drawings, logos, and simple illustrations work exceptionally well
  • • Avoid very dark, blurry, or overly complex backgrounds
  • • Consider cropping to focus on the main subject

Step 2: Configure Settings

Customize your animation parameters:

  • • Duration: 3-30 seconds (10 seconds recommended for most images)
  • • FPS: 15-60 frames per second (30 FPS for smooth professional quality)
  • • Blank Start: Enable for presentation-style reveals
  • • Preset Configurations: Quick settings for common use cases

Step 3: Generate & Download

Click 'Generate Animation' and wait 30-120 seconds for processing. Your high-definition MP4 video will be ready for download with full commercial usage rights.

Advanced Tips & Best Practices

Image Optimization

  • • Contrast Enhancement: Increase contrast before upload for better edge detection
  • • Resolution: Use images at least 800x600 for good quality output
  • • Color vs. Grayscale: Both work well, but high contrast is key
  • • Subject Positioning: Center your main subject for best results

Animation Settings

  • • Complex images benefit from longer durations (15-30 seconds)
  • • Simple logos work great with shorter durations (3-10 seconds)
  • • Higher FPS creates smoother animations but larger file sizes
  • • Use blank start for presentation-style reveals and explanations

Output Optimization

  • • All videos are exported in web-optimized MP4 format
  • • Resolution matches your input image (up to 1920x1080)
  • • Videos are compressed for web use while maintaining quality
  • • Download immediately – files are automatically deleted after 24 hours

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Animation Quality Issues

Problem: Animation looks choppy or unclear

Solutions:

  • • Use higher contrast images with clearer edges
  • • Increase FPS to 30 or 60 for smoother animation
  • • Try a longer duration for complex images
  • • Ensure your input image is at least 800x600 resolution

Upload and Processing Problems

Problem: File upload fails or processing times out

Solutions:

  • • Check file size is under 10MB
  • • Verify file format is supported (JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, BMP)
  • • Try reducing image resolution if very large
  • • Check your internet connection stability

Slow Processing Times

Problem: Animation takes longer than expected to generate

Solutions:

  • • Complex images with many details require more processing time
  • • Server load during peak hours may increase processing time
  • • Try simplifying your image or reducing resolution
  • • Wait patiently – most animations complete within 2 minutes
